JENNY ALEXANDER ART

 I am influenced by my surroundings in the North East of England in particular Saltburn and my hometown of Ayr in Scotland. I paint abstract sea and landscapes by merging images of the two areas together to create an exciting new image. My work has taken a sculptural turn over the past few months something that I am particularly enjoying. It goes against what we believe that painting should be kept flat and framed on a wall. My work shows that once you break and destroy something it takes on a new form of beauty and actually become much stronger.
